In the presented stocks analysis offered for download, a large number of information and key figures are listed without any further explanation. In order to increase the traceability of the data, the key figures obtained from the raw financial data are briefly defined in the following.

General

title: name of the corporation on www.boerse-online.de

isin: international securities identification number which is unique for each stock

acronym: short sequence of letters and/or numbers assigned to the stock corporation on www.wsj.com

country: home country of the corporation

sector: business area of the corporation (e.g. semiconductors, software,..)

industry: superordinate business area of the corporation (e.g. technology)

price: current price for one share of the corporation

currency: money unit in which the price and all monetary information are stated

Fundamentals

equity ratio (y-1): equity of the last fiscal year divided by the total assets of the last fiscal year

return on equity (y-1): earnings of the last fiscal year divided by the equity of the last fiscal year

return on assets (y-1): earnings of the last fiscal year divided by the total assets of the last fiscal year

ebit-margin (y-1): earnings before interest and tax of the last fiscal year divided by the sales of the last fiscal year

Price Rations

price book ratio (y-1): current price of one share divided by the quotient of equity of the last fiscal year and total number of corporation`s shares

price sales ratio (y-1): current price of one share divided by the quotient of sales of the last fiscal year and total number of corporation`s shares

price cashflow ratio (y-1): current price of one share divided by the quotient of cashflow of the last fiscal year and total number of corporation`s shares
